Migrated to the United States at the early ages of 7. She linked up with producer Billy Slata who influenced her writing and style of music (roots & cultural, reggae) in New York. where she began her dream, to become an entertainer. Summer Angel recorded her first songs at the Don One Recording Studio in Brooklyn New York. This led to a number of radio interviews and invitations to perform at various events in the Philadelphia area.

She linked up with producer Billy Slata who influenced her writing and style of music (roots and cultural, Reggae) in New York, where she began her dream, to become an entertainer.

Summer recorded her first songs at the Don One Studio in Brooklyn. (Living is Hard, & also Make a Remix) as her career developed, summer began performing her own songs along side whit artists such as Luciano, Vybes Kartel, Wayne Marshel and Lady Saw and many more.

She was a featured artist for the “Panteen All You Tour” at the Philadelphia Convention Center with headliners Yolanda Adams and Mc Leyte. This led to a number of radio interviews and invitations to perform at various events in Philadelphia; she has always been both humble and ambitious, Summer-Angel returned to Jamaica during the fall of 2003 to work on her single “Pop Up” with dancehall producer Steely & Clevie, which was released on Free Willy Records that December.  After returning to the United States she began touring with the Jod corp. talent show.  And promoting her music to various Radio stations.

Today she receives airplay from over 400 stations nationwide Summer Angel is now considered Philadelphia’s first top lady DJ’s/singer. When asked who inspired her to sing, Summer Angel talks admiringly about pop star Michael Jackson, Reggae artist Lady Saw and her brother Beenie Man. At the same time she believed that her greatest inspiration comes from God, for blessing her with such great talent.

The stage name she acquired from dancehall patrons, she was to be referred as Summer Angel, First Lady, Queen of Philadelphia Dancehall Reggae, because her style was so much like Lady Saw.

Summer Angel is now under new management; her contract for four years with Charles Johnson is now terminated. He didn’t Seems to have the prop-are links to get Summer Angel where she needed to be. However summer didn’t let that stop her from doing what she was born to do, "Entertain". Summer kept busy by working and working part time and also do what she loves best performing. Summer Angel is one in a million, she is so Good not even good excellent that New Jersey promoter selector Bam-bam named here PHILLY’S first Lady of Dancehall. She killed the Elephont Man show at the conduit nightclub leaving the crud wanting for more, while the First Lady was on stage Elephont Man his self-request that it was time for him to do this thing… “Summer Angel the First Lady” is the best of the best out of Philly as a female Reggae artist; therefore Philly respected her for that.

In the summer of 2005, Summer Angel had two hit songs “summer sap Juice & 24-Tymes”. Every last person and their mom was feeling her songs and that made the Reggae artist Angel, the First Lady/Summer Angel a household name in the Caribbean Community. Who didn’t knew her wanted to know “who’s that Girl”, Joe Dog & Tony Harddreve from Reggae Harddreve Sound and106.5 FM Radio heard allot of the Angel and decided to bring her in for an inter view. The first Lady wasn’t able to make it, but the Dis-Jockeys the promoted the music anyhow. 24 Times was aired at 8:00 sharp and the phone was off the hook by 8:05. Never before since they’ve been on the air his that happen. That’s Hats when it was known that Summer Angel ring bells.

That same summer of 2005 the hard working Lady, Summer Angel shoot her first video “Summer sap-Juice” from the upcoming album “A Slice of Heaven” the video had good potential, on the Reggae tip it was “excellent”. Summer Angel is a solo Reggae female artist, she is very deterring mind to meet her gold, and she is deter mind, focused and very ambishus. The Summer Angel was featured on Babycam concert at the Pennecal Nite Club in center city Philadelphia on December 9, 2005. She wasn’t pleased about the show and had her differences with the promoter. However, she didn’t let that bother her and shake it off like a first Lady should.

They set down on talked business, signed contract and it was a done deal, the first Lady was now known as the Queen of Wild Fire Records.
